Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have guaranteed rights when you purchase goods for personal use. These rights cannot be excluded or modified.
When you purchase a TokaToa hangboard for personal use, the product must:

By placing an order with TokaToa, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering.
All TokaToa hangboards are handcrafted to order from natural macrocarpa timber. Each board is unique and may exhibit natural variations in:
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. However, natural timber may result in minor variations from stated dimensions (typically ±2mm).
Orders are placed through our website form or by email. An order is not confirmed until we send you written confirmation and payment is received.
Custom orders require detailed consultation and separate quotation. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once work has commenced.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices shown are for pickup in Takapuna, Auckland.
Payment is required before commencement of work. We accept bank transfer, cash, or other agreed payment methods.
Standard production time is typically less than 2 weeks from confirmation of order and payment. Specific timeframes will be confirmed with each order.
Standard service is pickup from our Takapuna workshop. Shipping can be arranged at additional cost - please inquire for rates.
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of confirmation, provided work has not commenced. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once work begins.
Returns are accepted only for products that fail to meet Consumer Guarantees Act requirements or are significantly different from the description.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986. For business purchases, liability is limited to the cost of repair, replacement, or refund of the product.

All products are carefully packaged for safe transport. Shipping insurance is included for full product value.
Risk of loss transfers to you upon pickup or delivery. For shipped items, we retain responsibility until successful delivery.

The hangboard must be mounted to a structurally sound surface capable of supporting dynamic loads exceeding 2x user body weight. Suitable mounting surfaces include:
Use only high-grade mounting hardware appropriate for your wall type. We can recommend suitable hardware but installation is your responsibility.
Maximum user weight: 120kg. Do not exceed this limit or add additional weight during training.

Climbing and training activities involve inherent risks. TokaToa hangboards are designed and manufactured to high standards, but we cannot guarantee against all risks associated with climbing training. Use at your own risk and within your abilities.
